Enjoy cocoa, treats, and holiday cheer while creating something beautiful for your home! We had such a wonderful time last year and can't wait to do it again!

Coldest Night of the Year!

4th Annual 2K/5K

Join us for the Coldest Night 2K/5K, as our community comes together to walk in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness during the bitter cold of winter.

This meaningful event brings friends, families, and neighbors together while raising critical funds to support the individuals and families served by Pathway Home.

Bundle up, walk with us, and help make a difference for those in our community who need it most.

Raffle & Rhythm Pathway Home Block PArty

2nd Annual Raffle & Rhythm Block Party

What an incredible day! Our 2nd Annual Raffle & Rhythm Block Party was held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Ochsner Park in Baraboo. Despite a one-hour weather delay, the community showed up ready to enjoy a day of live music, food, raffles, family fun, and support for Pathway Home.

Throughout the day, guests enjoyed live entertainment from Baraboo’s Got Talent, Stix & Stones, Derek Ramnarace, Blacker Brothers, and Say It Ain’t Soul. Local food trucks kept everyone fed, while yard games, two bounce houses, raffles, and 50/50 drawings gave families plenty to enjoy throughout the park.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the event raised just over $15,000 to support Pathway Home and the individuals and families we serve. More than 100 local businesses contributed raffle prizes, making this year’s raffle another tremendous success.

We are especially grateful to our lead sponsor, Ho-Chunk, for their generous $5,000 sponsorship, as well as all of our sponsors, donors, local businesses, volunteers, musicians, vendors, and everyone who joined us. Events like this are only possible because of a community that continues to show up for its neighbors.

3rd Annual Coldest Night of the Year

The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

CNOY is a moment each year when we step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities.

We were so grateful to everyone who donated, walked, started teams, and helped make our third annual Coldest Night of the Year a success! Together, we raised our goal of $20,000—all thanks to a community that shows up, cares deeply, and believes in our mission. Every year, this event grows, and every year, we are blown away.
Be sure to mark your calendars for February 27, 2027—we can’t wait to do it all again for our fourth annual Coldest Night of the Year!

About Our Cause

Together, wecollected collecting donations that fund critical services at a local charity partner who serves and supports vulnerable families and individuals in our CNOY community.

We walk through the cold and dark in February to declare our concern for people who have no home and take shelter in nooks and crannies.
We walk for those whose days are a battle to house and feed their families and whose nights are filled with fear and frustration.
We walk for those driven from home by violence and abuse. And we walk for people overwhelmed by isolation, guilt, and despair.
We walk humbly, realizing that anyone can lose their footing and then lose everything else.

Each step we take brings someone closer to safety, health and home, as together, we raise funds for organizations whose commitment and work transforms peoples’ lives.

1st Annual Raffle & Rhythm Pathway Home Block Party

We are excited to share the remarkable success of our first annual Pathway Home Block Party, held on Sunday, August 10, at the Rock Event Venue in Edge O Dells, Wisconsin Dells. Despite a rainy start to the day, the sun ultimately shone brightly on our event, contributing to a fantastic atmosphere filled with community spirit and support.

We were thrilled to showcase live performances from some exceptional local bands, including BAMM, Gary Frisch, Derek Ramnarace, and Abby Spencer and The Holler. Their music set the perfect backdrop for a day of fun and fundraising.

Food trucks from Peach Pops and Jose's Mexican Restaurant added delightful flavors to our gathering, ensuring no one went hungry. Additionally, local high school art students graciously volunteered their time for face painting, bringing joy to countless children in attendance. Yard games provided entertainment for families, making this a well-rounded event for all ages.

A significant highlight of the day was our raffle, which proved to be a tremendous success. We are incredibly grateful to over 70 local businesses and individuals who generously donated raffle baskets. Your support made this aspect of our event not only possible but also a wonderful opportunity for attendees to win unique prizes.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our lead sponsor, Ho-Chunk, whose extraordinary contribution of $5,000 played a crucial role in the success of our event. We would also like to recognize our other sponsors: Koenecke Ford, Royale Lawn Care, Sean Sweeney Realty, Reedsburg State Bank, Baraboo State Bank, and Dirty Foot Music. Your support was invaluable, and we couldn't have achieved this without you.

A special thank you goes out to all of our dedicated volunteers who generously invested their time and effort to make this event possible. Your hard work and enthusiasm were instrumental in ensuring everything ran smoothly, and we are deeply appreciative of your commitment to our cause.

Host a fundraising event

You say it's your birthday?

Your group can host an event to raise money for our shelter. Art show, car wash, spelling bee, brat stand... the possibilities are endless! Every little bit helps and each dollar goes directly towards our shelter.

You say it's your birthday?

Celebrate by opening your heart to giving. Instead of receiving one more coffee mug, crazy tie, or the ugly sweater that hangs in the closet, we invite you to have friends and family donate in your honor.

Create a Facebook fundraiser

Follow these easy steps to set up automatic donations to us.

In the upper right corner of your Facebook page there’s a white triangle. If you click on it a drop-down menu appears and about halfway down see “Create Fundraiser.” Click on that and a popup window appears.
In the window you’ll be given three choices. Click on the Non Profit tab and in the next window type BARABOO AREA HOMELESS SHELTER in the search bar. A tab for Baraboo Area Homeless Shelter will appear below. Click on it.
In the next screen, you’ll enter your goal. This is completely up to you. Then put the end date of the fundraiser. Facebook defaults to two weeks, but again this is up to you. Hit the next button.
Name your fundraiser and write a brief description. You can use the copy that is already in place, or you can write your own more personal message. Generally a personal message will have more impact.
On the final screen you can choose an image from the stock images they have or you can upload your own.
Finally, hit the create button and you’re done. As people donate to your fundraiser, Facebook will send you alerts to let you know. Make sure to thank them for their contributions - thank yous are just as important as the donation itself.
