Fr. Dave Mowers - President

The Rev. Dave Mowers has served as president of the board of directors since Pathway Home was founded in November 2018. Father Dave played an instrumental role in helping to locate and secure municipal approval for our first location and has been an important voice in shaping the culture and program of the shelter. Fr. Dave believes that his involvement with Pathway Home has been part of his pastoral calling to the Baraboo community, and that serving and caring for the unhoused is one way we find the presence of God in our world. 

An Episcopal priest, Fr. Dave is rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Baraboo. He serves elsewhere as a board member of the Community Development Authority for the City of Baraboo, as a gameday athletics volunteer at Baraboo High School, and in the wider regional structures of the Episcopal Church. He is an avid birdwatcher, a very amateur Crossfit athlete, and an eager and wide-ranging reader. He resides in Baraboo with his wife, Elizabeth, a middle school English teacher, and their three children.
